St. Louis Senior Dog Project

Keep up with our Blog at www.stlseniordogproject.typepad.com. One of our adopters had their puppy dna tested. Guess what they found out?

Meet and adopt your new best friend noon to 3 Saturday, July 5, in the Kirkwood Petco, I-44 and Lindbergh. Check listings for which dogs will be there. Email if there's another you'd like to meet and we;ll try to arrange to have it there, if possible.

Our Adoptable Pet List

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Missouri. We are an all volunteer organization that rescues dogs or all ages but especially dogs 5 years of age and older. We actively promote the adoption of older dogs. We spay/neuter all dogs, bring them up to date with shots, worm, microchip and test for heartworms. We provide our dogs with all necessary veterinary care, including treatment for such things as heartworm disease, kennel cough, pneumonia, intestinal parasites, urinary tract infections, fleas and ticks

Adopting a dog

If you're interested in one of our dogs, we'll ask you to fill out an application and will do our best to make sure you and the dog are a good fit. Our usual adoption fee is $175. That includes the shots, spay/neuter, microchip, dental, and other necessary care. We ask you to sign a contract agreeing that you will return the dog to us if you can no longer care for it. The adoption fee for puppies and young purebreds is higher, and the fee for some of our older dogs is lower.

We need your help!

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project always needs foster homes for our dogs. And we're happy to accept leashes, collars and other supplies. Of course, we'll always take donations. Just click on the donate button below or send to The St. Louis Senior Dog Project, 7488 Rivermont Trail, House Springs, MO, 63051
